Grades 6th through 8th

Monday evenings 7pm – 8pm

Middle Schoolers are taken on an 8 class session journey as they discover the power of their salvation. Baptism, communion, living a life for God and more! Graduates move onto participating in one of several ministries available to them throughout the week. Pre-Teens are encouraged to finish these sessions first before they are baptized.

Wednesday Evenings 7pm – 8:30pm

Middle Schoolers are brought together for an inspirational and upbeat mid-week session full of discovery about their relationship with Christ. Small group class sessions challenge your child’s walk in Christ. Your child will feel stronger emotionally and more confident spiritually as they discover God’s purpose for their lives. A great mid-week program that will boost your child’s self-esteem, their Bible knowledge and team participation. This group will enjoy the variety of trips, recreational activities and mission based/community service projects.

Ministry meets monthly

An explosive club-like atmosphere with a strong gospel twist is the best way to describe Club Takeover. Club Takeover meets Friday nights during January to August. Features live and powerful worship services that include: gospel singing groups, local guest artists, singers, youth pastors/speakers and more… PLUS Middle Schoolers will be CHARGED UP as they participate in fun trips, activities and community service events outside the church such as trampoline dodgeball, gospel skating, preparing meals for the homeless and MORE!! Middle Schoolers can come to experience awesome worship and fellowship with their age group with opportunities to connect with other students as well.

Meets monthly. Students will be provided with weekly assignments.

Mark 10:42-45 ESV

And Jesus called them to him and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

The Ambassador Servant Leadership Program is designed to encourage, challenge, and empower select middle school students in Servant Leadership. According to Robert K Greenleaf, Servant Leadership is this:

“The servant-leader is servant first… It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead. That person is sharply different from one who is leader first, perhaps because of the need to assuage an unusual power drive or to acquire material possessions…

A servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong. While traditional leadership generally involves the accumulation and exercise of power by one at the “top of the pyramid,” servant leadership is different. The servant-leader shares power, puts the needs of others first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible.”

Class sessions are held once a month and students must complete an application package, successfully pass an interview and regularly participate in the Youth Ministry. We believe our Servant Leaders are the leaders of today, not tomorrow. We will prepare and provide our students with access to exercise and discover their leadership ability today!

Children will be encouraged to discover new friends, more about themselves and most importantly, they will discover God! This is open to not only our church membership but to children in the community as well.
